Club Excellence Award – Achieved by June 30, 2012 VIP Event and Recognition, expected to be on Thursday or Friday night before the Fall 2012 Conference:
Clubs that chartered before April 1, 2011, and that achieve any one or more of the following goals by April 15, 2012 and have purchased a new club banner with the rebranded logo, can receive a 50% rebate on the cost of that banner by submitting a copy of their sales receipt to the District Treasurer before May 15th:
Alternatively the club can choose a complete set of the Advanced Communication Manuals or a $50.00 Toastmasters International store gift certificate as their award.
Phoenix Award: Any club with a July 1, 2011 base membership of 12 or less, which has 20 or more members by April 15, 2012 and has purchased a new club banner with the rebranded logo, will receive a 100% rebate on the cost of that banner by submitting a copy of their sales receipt to the District Treasurer before May 15th.
Clubs that charter between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012 win a 10% rebate on the purchase of their club banner from Toastmasters International for each DCP goal it achieves by June 30, 2012 (with a 2 goal minimum). [Example: 2 goals achieved = 20% rebate; 3 goals achieved = 30% rebate.] The requirement to submit an officers list to TI by June 30 (DCP Goal #10) is considered achieved for clubs that charter after June 30th, and attendance at officer trainings (Goal #9) applies only to available training from the date the club charters through February 28, 2012. Banners must be purchased by April 15, 2012 and receipt submitted for reimbursement by June 20, 2012. Reimbursement will be made by July 31, 2012 (after year end results are posted)..
Clubs with all 7 officers trained Summer (June-August) or Winter (Dec-Feb) – 1 Gavel Pin per officer
Clubs which are Select or President’s Distinguished by April 30, 2012 (per the TI closing report for April) – choice of invitation for the club officers to special event at the Spring Conference, or one $25 Toastmasters International Gift Certificate for the club.
Membership Building Campaign or Event Award – Details will be posted on the website about submitting a description of a club’s inventive membership event or campaign running any time from July 1-December 31, 2011, and the results achieved. Judging will be done by the other District Trios in January at Region 9 mid-winter training. Prize will be trophy presented at Spring Conference.

Traveling Toastmaster: Full Details on the District 46 Website. For every 5 visits to a club, contest or training: 1 District Crank light
District Olympics: Each Toastmaster who files an education award (Communication or Leadership level) between July 1 and April 15, 2012 will win a medal.
Educational Recognition Award: Each Toastmaster who has achieved any communication or leadership award(s) between conferences will be awarded one pin for each achievement at the next conference. Each Competent Communicator achiever will receive a new Toastmasters International pin, other achievements will merit other pins as the District may determine. Member must attend the conference to receive the award(s).
Club Sponsors, Mentors and Coaches – invitation to special VIP event in the Spring of 2012. Mentors receive a Toastmasters “Mentor” pin. Coaches when assigned receive copy of Lance Miller’s DVD “Building a Championship Club”. Coaches whose goals are met by June 30th will also receive a Toastmasters Computer Briefcase.
Area Governors who make and file 100% Fall Club visits by Sept. 15, 2011 win a choice of a DVD by Lance Miller “Building a Championship Club” or cost of 2 Large Pizzas reimbursed for their Area Council Meeting.
Area Governors who make and file 100% Spring Club visits by March 15, 2012 – award TBD.
Area Governors whose area is Distinguished on the WHQ April 2012 closing report – $50 coupon to apply to the 2012 Fall Conference registration fee.
Division Governors who have a combined average (of both training sessions) of 80% of the Division’s club officers trained receive a $50 coupon to apply to the registration fee for the Spring 2012 District Conference.
Division Governors whose Division is Distinguished on the WHQ April 2012 closing report receive a $50 coupon to apply to the 2012 Fall conference Registration Fee PLUS complimentary invitation to the July 2012 Hail and Farewell.
