Together We Can Succeed

Together We Can Distinguished Club Awards

  • All clubs that achieve Distinguished by April 30, 2008, will receive a $50 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.
  • All clubs that achieve Distinguished after April 30, 2008, but before July 1, 2008, will receive a $25 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.

Other Distinguished Club Incentives:

  • All clubs that earn Distinguished Club credit for having their officers trained (four or more officers trained in BOTH Fall and Spring sessions) will be entered in a drawing and 10 lucky clubs will receive a $25 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.

Together We Can Leadership Award

  • Any club that earns three or more Leadership awards in any combination of CL, OCL, ALB, ALS, or DTM by June 30, 2008, will receive Stand Up and Speak! Table Topics Game.

Other Leadership Incentives:

  • All Toastmasters who earn an old CL by June 30, 2008, will receive a new CL manual.
  • All Toastmasters who earn a new CL by June 30, 2008, will receive the book, 101 Ways to Improve your Communication Instantly.           
  • Members who complete 5 projects from the new CL manual will receive a 1/2 CL ribbon.

Together We Can Fall Membership Renewal Award

  • All clubs that renew 20 or more members (new or existing) by September 30, 2007, will receive one module of their choice from among the following:  Better Speaker Series, Successful Club Series, or Leadership Excellence Series, or their choice of one Advanced Communicator Manual, the Competent Communicator Manual or the Competent Leader Manual.

Together We Can Spring Membership Renewal Award

  • All clubs that renew 20 or more members (new or existing) by March 31, 2008, will receive one module of their choice from among the following:  Better Speaker Series, Successful Club Series, or Leadership Excellence Series, or their choice of one Advanced Communicator Manual, the Competent Communicator Manual or the Competent Leader Manual.

Together We Can Membership Growth Award

  • All clubs that achieve a net gain of 5 members (new, dual or reinstated) as of June 30, 2008, will receive 2 manuals of their choice from among the following:  Better Speaker Series, Successful Club Series, Leadership Excellence Series, Advanced Communicator Manuals, Competent Communicator Manual or the Competent Leader Manual.
  • All Clubs that achieve a net gain of 9 members (new dual or reinstated) as of June 30, 2008, will receive a $25 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.

Other Membership Incentives:

  • The Vice Presidents of Membership of the top 5 clubs with the largest net gain of members at June 30, 2008, will receive the book, Thinking on your Feet.
  • The Vice Presidents of Membership of the top 5 clubs with the largest number of members at June 30, 2008, will receive the book, I Would Rather be Audited by the IRS than Give a Speech.   
  • All clubs that win the Smedley Awardwill be entered into a drawing.  10 lucky clubs will be drawn at the Fall Conference and will win a $25 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.
  • All clubs that win the Talk Up Toastmasters Award will be entered into a drawing.  10 lucky clubs will be drawn at the Spring Conference and will win a $25 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.
  • All clubs that win the Beat the Clock Award will be entered into a drawing.  10 lucky clubs will be drawn at the Hail and Farewell in August and will win a $25 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.

Together We Can Education Awards

  • All members who earn a CC this Toastmaster year before the Fall conference and who attend the full two day conference will receive a CC pin at the conference.  CC must be posted on TI web site before Awards presentation, Sunday, November 11, 2007.
  • All members who earn a CC this Toastmaster year before the Spring conference and who attend the full two day conference will receive a CC pin at the conference.  CC must be posted on TI web site before Awards presentation, Sunday, May 18, 2008.
  • All clubs that achieve 5 CCs will receive the Speechcraft Starter Kit.
  • All clubs that achieve 3 ACs will receive from the Success/Communication Series - How To Listen Effectively.

Note the CC used towards the Fall conference cannot be used for the Spring conference.

Other Education Incentives:

  • The Vice Presidents of Education of the top 5 clubs with the largest number of CCs (at least 5 CC’s or more) will receive the book, 10 Days to More Confident Public Speaking.
  • The Vice Presidents of Education of the top 5 clubs with the largest number of ACs (at least 3 AC’s or more) will receive the book, Tasteful Toasts.
  • Members who complete 5 speeches from the CC manual will receive 1/2 CC ribbon.

Marketing Incentives:

  • Any Toastmaster who supplies a lead for a club which is successful and results in the chartering of the club during this Toastmaster year will receive a $50 Toastmasters Catalog gift certificate.
  • All members who serve as sponsors/mentors will receive an Outstanding Toastmaster Pin for performing their sponsorship/mentorship duties.

Other Distinguished incentives:

  • All Area governors that earn Distinguished will receive the book, Using Stories and Humor - Grab Your Audience.
  • All Division governors that earn Distinguished will receive the book, Delivering Powerful Speeches.
  • Area governors who make all club visits in the Spring and the Fall will receive a HPL manual.

Together We Can Club Coach Award

Any Toastmaster club coach who accomplishes the following three goals will receive the book Motivating Your Audience

  1. Training of at least 4 club officers
  2. On time club dues payment for at least 6 members
  3. Club achievement of at least 2 DCP goals by the end of this Toastmaster year

Together We Can Triple Crown

Clubs need all THREE to WIN and receive a complete set of the Successful Club Series (10 modules).

  1. Earn at least 5 CCs OR at least 3 AC’s by June 30, 2008
  2. Earn three or more Leadership awards in any combination of CL, OCL, ALB, ALS, or DTM by June 30, 2008
  3. Achieve a net gain of 5 members (new, dual or reinstated) as of June 30, 2008
