It’s Not Too Late to Attend Club Officer Training!
The second round of club officer training takes place between December 1, 2007 and February 29, 2008. If 4 or more of your club officers have not been trained it is not too late. Check the ‘Club Officer Training’ link on the website, you will see that there are still several club officers training session scheduled throughout the District.
Why should you attend club officers training now?
- When at least 4 of your club officers are trained in the summer, and 4 are trained in the winter, your club achieves Goal #9 of the Distinguished Club Program (DCP).
- Statistics show that clubs with 4 or more officers trained are 70% more likely to achieve their DCP goals.
- Newly elected officers have an opportunity to learn the basic responsibilities of their new role.
- Continuing officers can discuss the challenges their clubs may be facing with district and other club officers.
- All officers can share their experiences and solutions for the issues and problems facing the club.
Can’t find a training session that you can attend? Contact your Area or Division Governor for help.
